Maths
Please click on the attachment below for activities linked to representing numbers 1, 2 and 3.
Other maths activities you could do at home are:
Number recognition and ordering
Practice counting to 10 each day.
Sing the days of the week song.
Collect objects to match numbers.
Collect a specified number of objects.
Watch these Numberblocks episodes ‘Three’ and ‘One, Two, Three!’ Here are the links: hwww.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08bzgxx/numberblocks-series-1-three and www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08bzh11/numberblocks-series-1-one-two-three
Other areas of learning
Please see the picture below, ask your child to talk about the picture and tell a story. There are some suggestions of questions that you can ask.
Watch the story ‘The Everywhere Bear’ (click this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkjQe6Gz1Ak). Talk to your grown up about your favourite part of the story. Why is it your favourite? What do you like about it? You could have a go at drawing a picture of where you would take the bear on an adventure. You could then have a go at labelling your picture.
You could also practice:
Writing your name
Getting yourself dressed and undressed in preparation for PE
Throwing and catching a ball
Jumping off of objects (outdoors) and landing on two feet
Paint a picture of your favourite adventure
Zipping up your coat/doing up the buttons
