Year 5 Space Camp
Our Year 5 classes took part in our very first Space Camp this week. Space Camp is an opportunity for children to explore space as well as sleepover at school and is funded by the Steven Hawking Foundation. The children arrived at school and took part in space related activities including; astronaut training, gravity experiments and star gazing using a telescope and Ipads. The sleepover took place in the school hall, with children in tents. This has been a hugely successful event and a wonderful opportunity for our Year 5 children.
