We understand that there may be a number of reasons why it might be very difficult for any adult at home to support your child so we have provided a range of different learning within the weekly plans, including some online learning packages that your child is already familiar with as well as new resources that mirror some of the learning that will be happening in class that week
We have provided learning that mirrors the learning that is happening in class as much as possible. Please see the attached links.

Literacy Day 2
Use the adverbs on the attached sheet and practise using them in sentences about Mog.
Day 3
Planning a new story - think of a new animal that might be in a house at Christmas and some new ideas for what mischief it might get up to. Plan your ideas on the storyboard attached.
Day 4
Look up the words: clambered, calamity and simultaneously. Practise using them in a sentence and plan them onto your story map. Also plan some verbs and adverbs from Monday and Tuesday onto your story map too.

Watch Mog's Christmas Calamity from 22 seconds onwards. Make a list of verbs that describe what Mog does in the video. Turn these verbs into the past tense by adding 'the suffix 'ed'. Remember the spelling rules before adding 'ed' to verbs!
Then use some of these verbs to write 5 sentences.
Topic
Watch this video of the Christmas story then show what you have learnt in a creative way. You could draw a picture, a story board, retell the story with stick puppets or Lego.
