This focus week has had a focus on outdoor learning. Year 2 have learnt about urban woodlands and how to conserve them, built dens in an outdoor workshop, went pond dipping in the school pond and even took a trip to Pudsey Park!

Chicks in the Classroom!
Reception have been nurturing chicks at school and kindly let 2A look after them for the afternoon! The children enjoying seeing the chicks and all had a go at holding them. This was a lovely way to link to our science learning about animals and their babies and the life cycle of chickens.
