Our friend Ryan talked about the things he does to celebrate Chinese New Year - he even gave everybody a chocolate gift! During group time this week we watched a short video on Cbeebies and learnt that this year is the 'Year of the Pig'. We had a go at drawing a picture of a pig; some of us used our developing phonic knowledge to write a label for our pictures. We also enjoyed transferring red and yellow noodles into silver bowls using chop sticks. Did you know that red and yellow mixed together makes orange? This is something we learnt whilst exploring!
