Leon and the Place Between
As part of this week’s Owlcotes Literature Festival children have been immersed in our whole school reader 'Leon and the place between' by Angela McAllisiter. On Monday reception children attended their first focus week launch assembly where Miss Harper took part in a magic trick and disappeared! Throughout the week they visited the magical emporium, where they drew pictures of the objects that interested them. They also used their imaginations to talk and write about the ‘place between’ and interviewed Miss Harper to find out more about what she saw, heard and smelled when she disappeared!
