History - To analyse the role of propaganda in the war
Science – Visitors from Vickers labs! Today, we have had a fantastic afternoon to finish off our British Science Week learning with Vickers labs. We started our afternoon learning about the company, what they manufacture and about their worldwide success. On return to class, the children thoroughly enjoyed combining different liquids to produce ‘green snot’. The children then explored a variety of safe chemicals that the scientists had created to use in different films, including the chocolate river from Willy Wonka! All Y6C loved getting stuck in and messy. We then finished our afternoon by some children testing out the smoke machine whilst others asked some inquisitive questions.
