We follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years and the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

Phonics and Early Reading

As a school we understand the importance of children being confident and fluent readers and throughout school we place a great emphasis on developing a love of reading.

We use Floppy's Phonics to teach Phonics from Reception upwards and The Oxford Reading Tree scheme is used to support reading development throughout the school.
