Maths - Problem Solving

PE - We have been developing our fundamental skills this half term and were focused on learning new balances. These balances were practised and then sequenced with movements between the balances.

Science - We were given the challenge 'Could we make a prototype that amplifies sound?' We worked in teams and planned out our experiment and then made our prototypes. Then we tested them ensuring we made the experiment as fair a test as possible!

PE - We have spent time working on our skipping skills as well as building our fundamental skills of balance, rolling and jumping.

Music - We had the Britain's Got Talent star from Class Dynamix and learnt an anti-bullying song. We then had the opportunity as part of YEar 4, 5 and 6 to perform this to our Year 2 and 3 classes.

History - This term we are looking at the Romans and their impact on Britain in History. We spent time discovering what a Roman Legionnaire looked like by using our communication skills to look at a picture for 10 seconds then report back to our group during a group draw. We then learnt what a Roman Legionnaire wore and why.

PE - We have started to work on our skipping skills and have been practising the one bounce, two bounce and cross over bounces.

Science - In Science we are exploring the topic sound. We spent time looking at how pitch is affected by the length of a straw and made our very own pan pipes!
