As part of World Mental Health Day reception thought all about our emotions and the things that we can do to make ourselves and other people feel happier. We read the book Have You Filled a Bucket Today? which is all about how we all have an invisible bucket that we carry around each day which hold our good thoughts and feeling about ourselves. The children then spent the morning thinking about different ways to fill their own buckets as well as other peoples, they drew and wrote about some of their ideas. In the afternoon we did some meditation, yoga and dancing to happy songs.
