Maths Super Learning Day

Maths Rockstars Day 2021

Monday the 8th of November was our whole school Maths Super Learning Day. We took on rock and roll persona's to celebrate mathematics and promote the use of one of our pieces of mathematics software right across the school.

Each year group focussed on different skills and content throughout the day, ranging from learning about doubling in Year 1; how to use arrays in Year 2; designing games to practice key instant recall facts in Year 3 to party planning problem solving in Year 5!

Children got the chance to use technology to practice their number skills as well. The older children in school took part in some inter class battles on TTRS while the younger children explored a variety of number games such as hit the button.

The children (and adults!) looked great and we are already excited for the next Super Learning Day
