Leeds Artist Show 2023

A group of pupils in year 4 have been selected to be involved in the Leeds Artist Show 2023 project alongside the Leeds Art Gallery. Pupils were introduced to this exciting project via a virtual workshop led by Amanda Phillips who works at Leeds Art Gallery. The project consists of creating a piece of artwork to reflect a wild animal escaping from a painting, showing through drawing and collaging where this animal might go.

Local artist Nicola Pemberton visited school to work with these pupils. They had a very busy morning creating and will finish their end pieces in the next couple of weeks. Two pieces will then be chosen and displayed in Leeds Art Gallery. This is an amazing opportunity for our pupils and we are thrilled to be involved!
