Remembrance Day 2018 (11-11-18)
Over the last few days in nursery (W/C 05-11-18) we have noticed that lots of people have been wearing a special flower called a poppy. We discussed the reasons we wear poppies, "To help us remember those brave people who looked after us and who continue to look after us" and made some poppy biscuits. We also contributed to the Armistice Day Centenary in main school by painting our bottle lids red and black to resemble a poppy.
