Outdoor Learning Focus Week

During the final week of term, we had the opportunity to embrace the great outdoors. We focused on our personal development by taking part in numerous activities that put us outside of our comfort zone with a focus on curiosity, cooperation independence and resilience.

Here are some pictures we created during our collaborative natural art session and when we learned to set a small fire and use it to toast marshmallows!

Leeds Industrial Museum - 5th May 2023

Today, Year 4 had the pleasure of visiting Leeds Industrial Museum to learn about about the industrial revolution during the Victorian era in Leeds. During the day, the children were able to explore the museum, watch a Victorian comedy film in the cinema and took part in a workshop where they had to play the role of a Victorian child and learnt more about mill life for children in this era.
