Sunny Visits Year 1!

This week Sunny came to visit our school! We were so excited to show him around. He stayed with us for the whole day learning, eating and playing with us. He had such a wonderful time as the children really looked after him well!

Platinum Jubilee

We were lucky this week and received some special books to help us mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We enjoyed reading them and learning some interesting facts about her life.

Maths in Week 1

This week we looked at making arrays. We used different objects to show what we understood about rows and columns. We also started to look at making doubles and used ladybirds to help us to understand this.
