Day1
After hearing the distressing announcement in assembly about the closure of our marvellous school  due to the construction of a multi- storey car park, Year 6 tweeted breaking news and worked in small groups to prepare presentations about the controversial situation.

Day 2
Today 6 planned and wrote fantastic newspaper reports detailing the proposed development and  the negative implications for pupils, parents , teachers and the wider Pudsey community.  They used direct and reported speech, came up with effective headlines and discussed bias and sensationalism in newspapers.

Day 3
Year 6  considered both  for and against arguments linked to the plans.  They formulated supporting and opposing arguments and they took part in a passionate debate.
