We use  trips, visitors, other curriculum areas, national events and high quality fiction as inspiration for our writing at Primrose Hill.  Here are some recent examples of writing from across the whole school. Year 1 have used 'Aliens Love Underpants'  as a stimulus. Year 2 have based their  character descriptions on 'The Enormous Crocodile'. In Year 3,  pupils have written letters of advice inspired by their class reader ' Shona Sharma'. Year 4 are reading 'Harry Potter' and they have written diary entries and character descriptions. Year 6 have read 'The Odyssey' as part of their Ancient Greeks History learning and they have thought about creating particular moods in their narrative writing.
