Thankyou for the recycling you sent in. The children enjoyed being scientists using the question can you make a toy boat that will sail for 30 seconds? This encouraged children to choose the correct material based on its properties and construct a toy boat that would sail. They used their enquiry skills as they designed, predicted, observed and came to a conclusion based on the results.
