On Friday this week we will be supporting Denim for Dementia by wearing denim to raise awareness and funds for Dementia charities.

The child have  learned a little bit about this illness through an assembly (delivered as part of the take over week) and through some class discussion.

We decided to combine our knoweldge about this topic with our ICT work on digital literacy.

We used a range or programs to produce these simple information leaflets to help raise the profile of Denim for Dementia.

The children had to type and alter text, search for, copy and paste images as well as explore different layout possibilities.

This was a session the children really enjoyed and the end results are fantastic and hugely worth while!
