After the success of our last whole school writing competition, we have launched our 2023 competition  'The Tunnel' .  

Last year, we inundated with entries from across the whole school.  Some stories made us terrified , others made us smile and lots of them have kept us gripped onto the edge of our seats!  We were been impressed by the descriptions, use of speech to move the narrative on and the way pupils have built suspense using short sentences and repetition too!

Every child who submitted an entry received a pen in recognition of their effort.  The standard was so high we had to invite a governor in to help us make the final decision!
