Owlcotes Literature Festival - WB 6.2.23

During this focus week, year 4 are learning all about Aesop's fables. They are reading, planning and writing their very own. Alongside this, they are creating a piece of art work that relates to one of the fables. using oil pastels and techniques such as smudging and printing. We have also been very lucky to work with a professional storyteller called Eden Bannatyne and learn lots of new skills when performing and reading stories.

Commando Joe - WB 30.1.23

Y4A have been using Commando Joe to help improve our communication and teamwork skills. The children have been set a challenge to complete a replicate version of Levison Wood's expedition across the Himalayas by completing several missions replica missions such as collecting water and crossing a ravine.
