The children worked hard today to understand how they can use their voices to make reading aloud come to life. The children practised and assessed each other's ability to add expression during their reading. The class worked well to utilise strategies for segmenting longer and more difficult words as well as using their understanding of the text to define new or uncommon words. The children will continue to develop this skills during our Magic Focus Week.
