In Autumn 1 we are learning...

In English we are exploring the books 'Aliens love underpants' and 'The Colour Monster'. We will also look at the poem 'The Monster'. We will be focusing on writing labels, captions, lists and simple sentences.                 

In Maths we will be focusing on place value (within 20), Addition and Subtraction (within 10) and geometry (shape).                                     

In Phonics we be revisiting levels 1-3 and level 4.                                                                                            

In Science we are researching different materials and their properties. We will also look at seasonal changes.                                           

In Art we will be exploring Piet Mondrian's work. 

In DT we will be making our own hand puppets. 

In PSHE we are exploring the topic 'Well-Being'. 

In PE we will be learning about fundamental skills. 

In Computing we are looking at word processing and typing. 

In Music we are practicing Rhythm and Pulse.
