    Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

    Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School is looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly school team. The post is permanent, term-time only, 7.30 hours per week, 5 days a  week.

    This post is to support the Lunchtime Supervisory team to supervise pupils in the school dining room, school playground and throughout the school premises during the lunchtime period. You will also manage pupils' behaviour and wellbeing.

    This post will suit candidates who are highly motivated, are able to relate well to children and able to effectively supervise children independently or as part of a team. The successful candidate will be joining a like-minded and friendly school team. As part of the Owlcotes Multi Academy Trust, we have access to a network of Lead Practitioners who are equipped to support the successful candidate in developing their career. 

    The successful applicant will undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to employment and will abide by Owlcotes Multi Academy Trust’s policies and procedures and Pudsey Primrose Hill  safeguarding and child protection policies.

    Co-opted Governor Opportunity 

    Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School has multiple vacancies for co-opted Governors on the Local Governing Board. School Governors on Local Governing Boards make a valuable contribution to children's education, opportunities and futures. Volunteering as a Governor is a meaningful way to be involved with the community and also to develop your own strategic skills. 

    There are no specific requirements to become a school Governor. Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School is currently seeking Governors who can offer skills in the areas of financial planning, HR and law, marketing and communication, and sustainability and environmental conservation – although all expressions of interest are welcome.

    Governors are appointed on a 4-year term and appointments can be renewed for as long as the individual remains eligible. The Local Governing Board meets four times per academic year, usually after the working day. LGB meetings are focused on current developments in school, monitoring and analysis of data, and future planning. We aim to foster a friendly and supportive atmosphere during meetings where any and all contributions are welcome.
